Cockroach infestation. During the June 22 inspection, which in response to a complaint about roaches, the inspector saw three live but dying roaches and multiple dead roaches in the facility, which feeds the homeless. An inspector returned June 30 but the problem hadn’t been eliminated so the permitted kitchen was shut down. However, a health department spokesperson said the organization was allowed to keep operating out of a different kitchen.
