“Picked up lunch around 12 noon March 5. Both my husband and I ordered chili, he got a chicken sandwich, I ordered the fish. I got sick and he didn’t. Could have been the fish or tartar sauce. Symptoms started around 4:30 vomiting subsided by 9 pm, diarrhea continued throughout the night. Had chills... and cramping as well. ”

Only I got sick as I purchased the chilli for myself. I woke up around 9:00 pm with extreme nausea and puke hiccups, cramps in my gut and e... xpelled large of gas from my bowls, and uncontrollable sweating one hicup around 9:30 I Vomited and soon after had explosive Diarrhea which continued throughout the night and currently continues. I purchase Chili regularly, But this time I noticed that the chili was watery and not as hot as normal. I did not detect any foul order. But after the first spoon full did notice the chili had a strange texture. I had a few more spoonfuls and disposed of the 1st chili and put the second chili in the refrigerator. “Went to pick up my order from here. I knew something was off, I get this same Chicken Tortellini Alfredo all the time and never gotten sick. The chicken is usually cooked more and it wasn’t but I didn’t think anything too much. I just thought it wasn’t “overcooked”. I ate a small portion of it and 4... hours later, as I’m writing this at 9PM I have cramps, nausea and diarrhea. I know it’s the food that I ate there because it’s all I’ve eaten today. ”

Recall details: KAREEM MART of Garden City, MI, is recalling its 1lb, 2lb, 10kg of “Tahina” food treats because they ha... ve the potential to be contaminated with salmonella, an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal infection in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, producing more severe illnesses infections.
The recalled “Tahina” were distributed in Mediterranean food stores in Michigan and Chicago, IL. Between April 2020 to October 2020. The product comes in 1lb, 2lb in plastic jars and the 10kg in metal can. There is only one lot distributed. With expiration date 07-01-2022.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with the problem. Please do not consume the product and immediately dispose of the product or return it to 32816 Manor Park Garden City MI 48135. Or to the place of purchase. And send us a note to the email: firstname.lastname@example.org with the return receipt and product purchase date for a full refund.
The potential for contamination was noted after routine testing from samples in the stores by the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD). Production of the product has been suspended while the FDA and the company continue their investigation as to the source of the problem.

“The FSIS announced the recall of approximately 6,806 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) dip and salads products by Food Evolution because they contain meat that was produced without the benefit of federal inspection. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these pro... ducts.
FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ refrigerators. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
The RTE dip and salad items containing meat were produced on various dates from Nov. 9, 2020, through Jan. 29, 2021 and have “USE BY” dates through Feb. 6, 2021. The recalled products bear establishment number “EST. 34309” inside the USDA mark of inspection. These items were shipped to retail locations in Illinois. The following product is subject to recall:
- Taco Dip With Refried Beans, Chili, Sour Cream, Cheddar, Onions, Black Olives, Jalapenos, & Red Pepper thoughtfully handmade —fresh to you — Fresh, Fast, Gourmet (31-oz).

The problem was discovered during routine FSIS verification tasks. FSIS personnel discovered that the establishment produced amenable product at an off-site facility without the benefit of federal inspection, then repackaged and labeled the products with the USDA mark of inspection at the federal establishment.
This is a Class I recall meaning it is a health hazard situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death.

The products subject to recall do not bear a Federal mark of inspection. These items were shipped to distributors, retail locations, and restaurants in Arizona, California, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, and Texas. The following heat-treated shelf-stable Hotpot Seasoning items containing beef tallow are subject to recall:
- 17.6-oz. vacuumed sealed packages of “Ming Yang Hotpot Seasoning (Slightly spicy).
