The next day (today) I finished the rest for breakfast and lunch and about 30 minutes after my stomach began to feel queasy and a hour later cramps set in and I was back and forth to... the bathroom but the cramps won’t go away and is now accompanied by a freaking headache ”

“My brother in law got food poisoning after eating here. This is the third person in my family alone to get food poisoning from a location. All 3 times have happened over the span of 3 years and at different locations. The one on bluebonnet and the one on S.... Sherwood Forest. Seeing all the other people from around the country reporting this is extremely frustrating, especially since this is probably a fraction of the people experiencing this issue. Again, 3 different people in the same family got sick from eating here at different times and locations. ”

“Dim sum. Pork bun,shrimp dumpling,shrimp & beef noodle rolls,sui mai and jasmin tea We stopped here for late lunch early dinner. 3:30 to 4:20 according to our map program. Ordered jasmin tea. We both used the washroom, ate and left. On the way home my partner started getting bad cramps... and nausea. I started getting chest pain. 1 hour later we got home. ”

Dad kept getting worse, he thought It might be stomach flu, but I didn't. Dad missed Doctor's appointments (he's on dialysis) on and off, for about a month. He got so sick he missed 2 appointments in a row and hadn't had dialasys for 5 days - which is VERY BAD.
With his dialasis, he sometimes got sick after, but this was different. He was literally screaming in pain and delerious.
They took him away in an ambulance, screaming in agony. He stayed in hospiral 11 days.
Turned out he had an abdominal obstruction and severe inflammation and infection, caused by.....severe food poisoning. They put him on an I.V, had to sedate him, give him strong pain meds, shoved a tube up his nose and into his bowrls. They drained several LITERS of infected fluid from his intestines. They told me that if he'd waited one more day, he'd have died. Died.
This all goes back to the day he went to there. They have always been crappy; missing more thsn one item, wrong change and more than once my hamburger or egg mcmuffin was ice cold and so stale, it seemed like it was in the first stages of rigor mortis. Plus the fries were burned more than once and I'd gotten attitude (from regular staff, not the msnagers) whenever I had to go back and fix the issue (I'd stopped going there way before my dad got sick).
I don't know if any others have suffered food poisoning and/or dysentery at the hands of this particular reasturant, but I wouldn't be surprised.
But, after ALL THIS, nobody I know will even go near that place again!!! ”

How is it transmitted?
Coronaviruses such as the current 2019-NocV are transmitted through the respiratory system, not the gut, so there is a low risk of infection through the consumption of contaminated food. Restaurants can be a site of transmission of coronavirus because of the large numbers of people congregating in close quarters and then coughing/sneezing could spread the disease just like in other places (transportation, schools, etc). But the food itself isn’t a likely vehicle.
Signs of infection?
Common signs of infection include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases and those with weakened immune systems, an infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, and even death.

Standard recommendations to prevent infection spread include regular hand washing, covering mouth+nose when coughing/sneezing, and avoiding close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.
