After the dinner, I returned to Upon my hotel (Altstadt Hotel Hofwirt) and experienced a violent stomach upset and vomiting, and had 4-5 diarrheas through the night. The symptoms persisted into this morning (April 14) even after I boarded on the train to Vienna.
This morning on the train, I checked website customer reviews on website on this Restaurant and learned it that it is rated the worst rated in Salzburg (#523 out of a total 523 restaurants in Salzburg). Seemingly other customer had bad experience and reoccurring food quality/sickness issues with this restaurant.
PLEASE GIVE THIS FOOD POISONING CLAIM THE SERIOUSNESS IT MERITS AND TAKE A THOROUGH INVESTIGATION TO PROTECT TOURISTS!!!
DO NOT LET ONE BAD BUSINESS SMEAR THE WORLDWIDE GRAET REPUTATION OF THE BEAUTIFUL CITY SALZBURG …
It is not fair to let this rotten restaurant ruin the hard work of other honest restaurants that serve wonderful food and caring … this restaurant should be heavily punished for providing bad food and food and putting tourists’ health and life act great danger. It took generations to build a such lovely Salzburg, please kick out this a bad business who doesn’t meet the basic standards.
I will be traveling in other European countries in the weeks, I am more than happy to provide any information that the Salzburg government requires for the investigation.
