Fell ill last 3 days of trip. Saw doctor at the resort (roughly $500 USD), he took a shotgun approach - said it could be salmonella, parasite, or extreme dehydration. Was able to make it back to the US where I visited my physician, did a stool sample, and confirm that it was salmonella.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Dehydration

I was there in December. I only ate and drank from the hotel. After 1 week I collapsed and was taken to hospital. I had terrible dizziness and nausea. I had diarrhea, vomit and fever. Now it's been 6 months and I'm still sick without a diagnosis.… See more
