“My wife and I ate Beef Tartar on September 19. We both got severe diarrhea about 20 minutes apart 22 hours after eating. We had all are meals there. 9/18 we had Tuna, (9/19 breakfast and 9/19 Beef Tartar. We both started diarrhea Friday, 9/20 at about 10 PM. We had severe diarrhea from 10 PM until... 6 am all night.
My wife had to go to hospital as she was severly dehydrated and was given IV's.
We did not know that Tartar meant "RAW" meat as would would have never ordered it.
The Hotel denied it was food poisoning as they said the Chef said food poisoning would have resulted in us being sick within 4 hours, not one day later.
We both had 8 hours of diarrhea followed by headaches and intestinal and stomach cramps for the next two days. There could be no other source of poisoning other than the Beef Tartar. ”

“Beef Tatare, My family (2 adults and 2 children) had lunch on Saturday 17th August 2019 between 1.05pm and 2.21pm. As my main course I had Beef Tartare. During the meal my wife had a forkful of my dish. At approximately 3.30am this morning (18th August 2019) I awoke with severe stomach cramps, nause... a and flatulance. I then proceeded to have diarrhoea for around 55 minutes (until my stomach was empty!)....I took2 anti-diarrhoeal tables which quelled the discomfort. My wife woke a couple of hours later and also had a bout of, less severe, diarrhoea and a feeling of nausea. Neither of us have been able to eat today and we both are very fatigued. As this was the only food, during the entire day, that we shared I can only conclude that the Beef Tartare was the cause of this illness. I appreciate that a raw beef dish may have a slightly larger chance of food bourne illness but, as a qualified chef, and having eaten may portions of Beef Tartare (in my 52 years) I know how to avoid the preparation risks and would expect any restaurant serving this dish to follow the methods to ensure that it is safe to eat. My wife and I are currently resting and have still to eat anything today as we are both still feeling nauseous and tired. ”

“My left eye and lips swelled up overnight after eating at Otaku Ryori in Talence. I have no food allergies and this had never happened. This was accompanied by diarrhea in the middle of the night. Not only that the shop was very dodgy They overcharged us yet was unable to produce the bill for us. Th... e cashier simply took the notes from my hands and refused to return us our money. They insisted that the menu price was wrong even though we clarified the amount before we ordered. ”

“We were travelling as a group of four myself, husband and friends a husband and wife team.
During our travels we had eaten the same meals without any problems, on our journey home we stopped at Paul on the A10 for lunch. Myself and friends husband ate a sandwich of Jambon, pesto & Tomato.
We ate n... othing else different during the journey and returned to our individual addresses. Within the early hours of the following morning both myself and my friends husband suffered violent effects of food poisoning vomiting, diarrhea, requiring numerous visits to the bathroom. These symptoms persisted throughout the following day resulting in considerable discomfort and inability to go far from a bathroom. Leaving symptoms of weakness and exhaustion.
My husband and friends wife suffered no such symptoms. I can only conclude the only item my friends husband and I ate in common and was different from our partners the Jambon, pesto, tomato sandwich purchased.
To date the Paul store have not responded. ”

“A foreign object stuck me in the mouth while eating food prepared at this location! I got sick eating their food and my lab results tested positive for E Coli! I accrued over $1,000 in medical bills and they tell me because no body else reported that they fell ill eating their food, they would not... claim responsibility for the E Coli. BUT they linked the thorny object to their beans! What the heck!! Listen... when people buy food from a restaurant, they trust it will they will be safe and healthy. NOT HERE! NOT THIS PLACE! When something like this happens they should be held accountable for their negligence! From the distributors to the food preparer! Management too! When I called to report it, their manager interrupted me as if I was a bother to him. He said “yeah yeah” so I would hurry up and say what I had to say. No empathy, no urgency, no concern and no responsibility. They don’t care about the customer or their well being! Negligent from the top.... down! ”
