Big Sky Bread Company of Urbandale, IA is recalling their Big Sky Chocolate Chunk Granola and Big Sky Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Chip Granola because it may contain undeclared milk. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious allergic reaction... if they consume these products. The Big Sky Chocolate Chunk Granola and Big Sky Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Chip Granola was distributed in Iowa through retail stores and direct delivery. No illnesses have been reported to date.
All Big Sky Chocolate Chunk Granola and Big Sky Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Chip Granola in 14oz packages that was distributed through 11/07/2022 fall under this recall.
The recall was initiated after it was discovered during a routine inspection that a product containing milk was distributed in packaging that did not reveal the presence of milk.
Consumers who have purchased Big Sky Chocolate Chunk Granola or Big Sky Chocolate Chunk Peanut Butter Chip Granola are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund or it may be returned to Big Sky Bread Company at 7021 Douglas Ave in Urbandale for a refund or product replacement. The FSIS announced the recall of 5,001 pounds of frozen beef dumpling products by Menu19 LLC because they were produced without the benefit of federal inspection. These products were shipped to restaurants and retail locations in California. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due... to consumption of these products.
The recalled product is:
- 1.5-lb. cartons containing 12 pieces of “Mantu menu19” and UPC code: 86000524010.
The product subject to recall was produced in November 2020 through October 23, 2022 and does not bear the USDA mark of inspection because Menu19 LLC is not a federally inspected establishment.
FSIS is concerned that some product may in consumers' freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
