I visited this Wendy's location after leaving the grocery store (food 4 less) on Feb 20, 2019 around 11 -11:30 am. My mother and I stopped there to enjoy a nice lunch but what we got was sick! She had the $5 dollar deal (bacon cheeseburger, nuggets,... See More small fry and a drink) and I had a cheeseburger deluxe. After consuming this sandwich I experienced some discomfort a few hours later. I tried to treat my discomfort by drinking a ginger ale thought it might settle my stomach but it didn't help. While driving I felt quit nauseated and full of gas. I then started belching which resulted in vomiting while driving in the middle of traffic and all over myself. I then managed to pulled over out of the traffic and raise the window down because I could not get the door open fast enough and continued to vomit profusely. I then composed myself and attempted to make it home to get myself and my car cleaned up. Once I got home and peeled out of those soiled clothes I couldn't do anything but lay down. I had developed a fever by then and then diarrhea followed right behind. I could not sleep all night due to the constant urge to run to the bathroom to release myself. The next day I call my mother to check on her and to let her know what happened to me and she too was experiencing diarrhea as a result of eating this food. I have been experiencing the symptoms of diarrhea for 2 days now going on the 3. I have purchased over the counter medicine to help calm down the symptoms and I am working through it. This Wendy's was the only thing that I had to eat that day and as a result of this bad experience I not only will not be visiting this location again but if I should have a taste for a burger again Wendy's WILL NOT be a choice of mine. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Gas, Burping See Less

MF Meats is recalling approximately 93,277 pounds of raw meat products due to potential contamination with a non-food grade substance, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). A few hours or number of hours after eating at Jim’s Pizza on 224th in Maple Ridge my daughter and I independently became violently ill with vomiting and diarrhea. (Pasta with chicken) (salad with chicken). Granddaughter didn’t eat chicken and never got ill. Vomiting lasted 12 hours... See More every few minutes and diarrhea 4 days. Had to monitor blood sugar regularly as diabetic and try to keep hydrated. I’m in my 70’s so recovery was much longer than a young person. I’ve since learned that apparently it’s common knowledge to many and many, many individuals have got food poisoning from this location over the past weeks and/or months and this place is still operating. We stayed at the Tui Blue Cabo Verde from 5th February 2024 until 19th February 2024

I became very ill, 2 days into the holiday, with violent stomach cramps, nausea, fever and diarrhoea it lasted for the whole holiday and I’m still waiting to recover ( I... See More have now been back 3 weeks) I’m currently waiting to get some treatment, as my doctor doesn’t know what to treat it with.

I concur with others, that glasses and cups in the room were not replenished with clean ones every day, my husbands bed sheets were changed with stained sheets. It was difficult to get tea, coffee and drinks at meal times. Water was only available from water fountains which were fed from the big blue bottles. Bottles of water were only replaced every two days. I do not drink alcohol and only drink water (sparkling or still)

In a nutshell my holiday has been ruined and I will never return to Cape Verde again. TUI have a duty of care to their customers and in my opinion they have not fulfilled their responsibility
The reps are only interested in selling overpriced island tours and activities. I have complained to TUI and have been told I will need to get a report from the doctor.

My motivation for leaving this review is to protect people from suffering how I am with this horrible poisoning. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Fever, Cramps
