Lucky Charms, Watertown, NY, USA

2 days ago reported by user-gfvc9811

I impulse bought Berry Swirl Lucky Charms yesterday and didn't get around eating them until today. I would estimate around an hour later I became very nauseous, my stomach having sharp pains and a sort of hollow, acidic feeling. I became light-headed at one point, thinking I … See More
was very dehydrated, but then immediately felt the urge to both vomit and use the restroom at the same time. I fought the urge to vomit long enough to use the restroom, and by then the urge had passed just enough to be able to leave the bathroom and lie down. About 3 hours later I am still having stomach pain.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Lightheaded

Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Fever, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Headache
Suspected source: milkshake
Onset: More than 2 days
Duration: Several days
Sick: 3 people
Additional information: Last week, five (5) of us spent the weekend together and stopped at this Chick-Fil-A location in Cheektowaga, NY … See More
on our way home. All five (5) of us ordered chicken, but only three (3) of the five (5) ordered a milkshake. The three (3) who ordered the milkshake fell violently ill, with the exact same symptoms and at the same time, exactly thirty-six (36) hours later. They range in age from 12 - 80 years old. It is now four (4) days since the onset of symptoms, and they have not subsided. The two of us who had a soft drink in lieu of the milkshake are fine. Given we spent the weekend together, traveled together, and ate the same food, the only variant and potential culprit is the milkshake. Either the container was handled by an unclean or unwell individual or the milkshake prep area is improperly cleaned and/or contaminated. I suspect Listeria or E Coli and will see if I can our doctor to test for food poisoning.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Fever, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Headache
