a fever of 102.5. I couldn't keep any food or liquids down without vomiting. The next day I stopped vomiting but I had diarreah and a fever of 101.3. And today the 3rd day I don't have anymore symptoms. I didn't really feel sick when I was having the symptoms and they just started out of no where and I haven't been around anyone who was sick the past few weeks. My symptoms went away after 2 days. Edit for day 4: I have no other symptoms other than real bad dehydration.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Chills, Dehydration

I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit combo , with seasoned fries and a sweet tea and two cinnamon twist. After finishing the second cinnamon twist (I didn't eat all of my food, just the biscuit and maybe 8 fries and the two twist. Anyway, after … See More
finishing the second cinnamon twist hours later for a random snack, I went to bed. I woke up about three hours later out of a dead sleep with intense stomach pain. My stomach would not stop churning. I burped and all I tasted was pure acid and fire in my throat. I took Pepcid. Went back to sleep and woke up again and again with the severe stomach pain. I sat on my toilet with my heating pad pressed to my stomach, in tears. The pain got so intense, I kept telling myself do NOT throw up! Because I could also feel intense nausea. Finally, I was able to use the bathroom a little. It was entirely diarrhea. It's been over 12 hours and I have not eaten anything since, I am afraid to. My stomach still feels very off. And I've had a massive headache along with it all. I eat here all the time. But now, I'm a little scared.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Other, Stomach Pain, Headache, Burping

The CDC, along with U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) and state and local partners, is investigating an ongoing multistate outbreak of Listeria monocytogenes infections linked to deli meats.

As of October 22, 2020, a total of 10 people infected with the outbreak … See More
strain of Listeria monocytogenes have been reported from Florida, Massachusetts, and New York. All 10 ill people were hospitalized. One death has been reported from Florida. In interviews with 9 ill people, all reported eating Italian-style meats, such as salami, mortadella, and prosciutto. They reported purchasing prepackaged deli meats and meats sliced at deli counters at various locations.

A specific type of deli meat and common supplier have not yet been identified. Listeria bacteria can spread easily to other foods and surfaces. The bacteria in a contaminated deli product may spread to other deli meats and cheeses in shared display cases or equipment at deli counters. A traceback investigation is ongoing to determine if there is a specific type of deli meat or a common supplier linked to illness.
