aside from drinking water so I know it was the apples.
I purchased Stouffer's Harvest Apples and actually put it in the microwave for 5 minutes and then let it stand for 1 minute. I began to eat the apples and maybe 15 minutes into eating, I became sick on my stomach. About 30 minutes later I became nausea and began vomiting. the food back and complained to the owner but he didnt seem to care. we left the restraunt and a little while later we had to pull in afast food place and run to the bathroom. i was vomitting really bad and so was my husband. i called the dr on call when i got home and toldhim all our symptons and he said we definitely had food poisoning and continue to take pepto bismol but if its not any better within a day or 2 we need to see a doctor. my husband tried to go to work today but had to come home because hewas so sick so he now loses a day of pay because of this restraunt. the owner was very defensive and acted like he didnt care and was pissed off. really nice attitude from an owner!!!!!!!!  | Symptoms: Vomiting

A sample of the milk collected by an inspector from the Department was discovered to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. On March 13, 2024, the producer was notified of a preliminary positive test result. Further laboratory testing, completed on March 18, 2024, confirmed the presence of Listeria monocytogenes in the raw milk sample. The producer is now prohibited from selling raw milk until subsequent sampling indicates that the product is free of harmful bacteria.

Listeria monocytogenes is a bacterium that can cause listeriosis, a serious infection particularly dangerous for young children, the elderly, cancer patients, and others with weakened immune systems. It can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths in pregnant women. It is important to note that raw milk does not provide the protection of pasteurization, which is the process that kills the bacteria responsible for numerous illnesses and diseases.
