so I stopped eating it, wrapped it up and threw it away. not even 30 minutes into my shift I feel this fever come upon me like I was sick, I go sit down & i felt like i was fixing to puke. i instantly ran to the restroom & started throwing up, the stomach pains i felt were so unfamiliar. like sharp pains. i went home, and cuddled up into a fleece blanket to try and break my fever. my fever didnt reduce till about an hour ago. so 4:45 pm. i took 2 ibuprofen 800 mg, & nausea meds. i still feel like my stomach is super upset.   | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Fever, Vomiting, Stomach Pain

continued eating mine. Well woke up this morning and went straight to the bathroom. Liquid coming from both places!! Headed out on the road to get back home, threw up In my hand in the most forceful manner with vomit splashing on my ca door. Mostly the water I attempted to drink to settle my uneasy stomach. All I could think was “I knew better!” When I arrived at the location I noticed not 1 employee was using gloves making pizza. From the dough tosser that stop to help the guy at the register find my order, then proceeded to go back to tossing pizzas without washing his hands, to the girl grabbing handfuls of cheese and toppings with her bare hands, not telling when she last washed her hands. I found solace in knowing the pizza would then have to go through a hot hot oven and thought that it would also kill the germs.. wrong! After paying for my pizza I then noticed the guy slicing the pizza, a big nasty looking fellow, wasn’t wearing gloves either. Looking to return to the room so I could watch the White House briefing on the coronavirus update, I took my pizza and rushed back home to the room to find out the shelter in place orders had been extended for the whole month of April. This place needs to be shut down during this time as they are not practicing healthy procedures and are making people sick! I called to talk to the manager and the employee said he wouldn’t be in until 1. I then asked him were they using gloves today and he responded “we wersh our hand” (he said wersh and I wonder if he meant wash or he meant what he said because based on my stomach they aren’t properly washing their hand and wersh is probably a 3 serving wash or sanitizer) either way they are nasty af, please save you and your family the grief of getting food poisoning and DO NOT EAT HERE! They just nasty ? currently waiting for a call back from the local health department where I made a report to open an investigation. They will probably get a heads up and do the right thing on that day. Ultimately it is your responsibility to avoid places like this and don’t assume they care about your health. They are there fora check and don’t give af about the health and safety of others. Coronavirus is our here and they are not trying to stop the spread with these unhealthy practices. sick as I did. The chicken seemed to taste a bit different than usual, but not bad. It was obvious that I had food poisoning, as I had all of the disturbing symptoms. As I type this day (on Sunday April 7, 2024), I’m just beginning to feel better, but my muscles & joints are still weak and extremely painful. I’ve never been so ill in my entire life. FDA has issued a warning against certain frozen, raw, half-shell oysters from the Republic of Korea, potentially contaminated with Norovirus. The outbreak has reportedly affected an unspecified number of people in California. These oysters were distributed to restaurants and retailers in California and may have reached other … See More

The effected products are Lots B231126, B240103, and B240214 of oysters processed by JBR (KR 15 SP) in Tongyeongsi, Republic of Korea on specific dates in late 2023 and early 2024.

The FDA advises consumers not to eat and restaurants and retailers not to serve or sell these oysters due to the potential Norovirus contamination.

In case you experience Norovirus symptoms, such as vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and nausea, report it now. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
