Last Sunday (Jan 8, 2023) afternoon I ate a chicken salad there. The red sauce seemed extra hot so I ordered a small side of guacamole to cool it down. All Sunday night into Monday morning my stomach felt bloated and miserable. I went to work Monday morning just thinking how the red salsa was too hot for me (I typically eat somewhat spicy foods with no problem). I just thought I wouldn't order that red sauce again. As Monday progressed I was unable to eat anything, and my gastrointestinal discomfort increased. I felt a lot of nausea (though I didn't actually throw up), flatulence, fatigue and exhaustion. Got home from work Monday and rested immediately. Fever and headache started by bedtime with diarrhea starting Tuesday morning. It's now Thursday and I'm still off work. The original symptoms of fever, diarrhea and nausea have passed but I'm still exhausted and my stomach can only handle bland foods. update: found out it was not firehouse subs it was a mac and cheese food cart in Portland which is now permanently closed
