packaged foods and restaurants are safe. So, occasionally I experience a bout of cramping, diarrhea and my other symptoms of "glutening", usually from supposedly gluten-free restaurant meals. I didn't suspect the Cheerios until yesterday. Within a few hours of eating them, the gastro symptoms began and I woke up this morning with a swollen tongue. The last time I was "glutened", recovery took over a month. Ugh!
08/06 update: I feel much better. The cereal was purchased at one of three places. I really don't know which one: Sam's Club, Salisbury, MD (most likely), Food Lion, Onley, VA. Walmart, Onley, VA. All the stores are on located Rt 13, Also known as Lankford Highway in Virginia and North Salisbury Boulevard in Maryland.
