The FSIS announced the recall of approximately 2,400 pounds of ready-to-eat ham and cheese loaf products by Kraft Heinz Foods Company, a Kirksville, Mo. due to possible cross-contamination with under-processed products. These products were shipped to distribution centers in Ohio and Virginia and further distributed for retail... See More sales. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

The following products are subject to recall:
• 16-oz. rigid vacuum-packed packages containing “Oscar Mayer Ham & Cheese LOAF” with codes from “07 Feb 2023 20:40 7B” through “07 Feb 2023 22:16 7B” on the label.

The ready-to-eat ham and cheese loaf products were produced on Oct. 10, 2022.

The problem was discovered when the establishment notified FSIS that the product was sliced on the same equipment as product that had been under processed, and the equipment was not cleaned between runs of the under-processed and fully cooked product.

FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

In case you experience harm from this product, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve issues and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.

My son had severe stomach pain within 20 minutes of eating a small bowl of Lucky Charms from a brand new box from a twin pack I purchased from here for breakfast today. He ate nothing else prior to this occurring. The pain was so severe and... See More he became so pale, I thought he was experiencing appendicitis since the pain was moving from middle abdomen to right abdomen. Nearly ended up going to the emergency department before calling his pediatrician on call. So far pain has subsided and not returned in the last couple of hours. | Symptoms: Stomach Pain See Less

I have been severely ill for the past 3 weeks. I had no idea that it was the JIF peanut butter getting me sick the whole time. I was convinced that it was a gall bladder problem. I have never in my life been as sick as the past few days. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting See Less
