Valley Fine Foods have recalled more than 35,000 pounds of refrigerated heat-treated, not fully cooked meat and poultry products that have been used in the "Simple Dishes" pasta entrees after finding the meat posed bacterial contamination risk.

The meat was tested by the Valley Fine Foods research and development department during routine internal testing. Locations in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan and North Carolina have all received shipments of these "Simple Dishes" products.
Some of the Simple Dishes products have Nov. 25 best-if-used-by dates. If you see the establishment number “ P-22102B” or “M-22102B” printed on the side of the product packages throw them out. There appears to be no confirmed cases of food poisoning as yet.
