iWasPoisoned.com, the food safety crowdsourcing social platform, is proud to announce our newest board advisor, Kathleen Kennedy, Director of Special Projects for the Executive Vice President and Treasurer of MIT.
Kathleen brings a wealth of experience as an expert in the media field to iWasPoisoned.com. She began her career in the financial world but left to pursue her true calling in media, joining a startup that specializes in media research for the film industry.
Later, she was President of MIT Technology Review where she helped to redefine the magazine brand and to achieve success in a rapidly changing market.
In 2014 she co-founded HUBweek, a festival showcasing, celebrating, and convening the most creative minds making an impact in Boston and around the world, where she currently serves as Vice Chair on the executive board. Currently, along with serving as an advisor for Good Growth Capital, she is working as a lead organizer of The Engine, a new MIT initiative created to advance innovation.
