Coborn's Inc. started a voluntary recall of select chicken salad products as these may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. This recall was initiated after their poultry supplier, Tip Top Poultry, issued a voluntary recall of ready to eat products due to possible Listeria contamination. No illnesses have been reported to date.

According to the recall notice the products were distributed and sold at Coborn’s and Cash Wise stores in MN, ND and SD; and Marketplace Foods stores in Western Wisconsin. This are some of the recalled products:
- Cashew Chicken Salad
- Chicken Salad Spread
- Spicy Chicken Salad
- Southwest Chicken Taco Pasta
- Pulled Rotisserie Chicken Cold
- Chicken Salad Spread
- Chicken Salad on Marble Rye
- Chicken Salad Wrap
- Chicken Salad Sandwich
- Chicken Salad Croissant Sandwich
