Dole Fresh Vegetables, Inc. issued a recall of a limited number of cases of baby spinach because they have the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. No illnesses have been reported so far.

Consumers who have purchased either the 6 oz Dole Baby Spinach bag, Lot code W20308A, UPC: 0-71430-00964-2; or the 10 oz Dole Baby Spinach clamshell, Lot code W203010, UPC 0-71430-00016-8; both with Use-by dates of 08-05-2019 are urged to not consume these, but rather discard them.
According to the recall notice, these products are expired should no longer be on retail shelves. However, they were distributed in IL, IN, KY, MI, NJ, NY, OH, TN, VA, and WI.
