US - More than 18,000 pounds of ready-to-eat meat and poultry products recalled over possible Listeria contamination

Ukrop’s Homestyle Foods recalled over 18,296 pounds of ready to eat meat and poultry products that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. These items were shipped to retail locations in Kentucky, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia, according to the recall notice on U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) website.

No illnesses have been reported at the moment.

How to know if you purchase this product? Look for the USDA inspection mark "EST. 19979". If so, FSIS urge consumers not to eat these and return them to the store where purchased for an exchange or full refund. You can check the full recall list here or check out the product labels here
