Multiple vegetables produced by Growers Express recalled over Listeria concerns

Growers Express issued a voluntary recall of select fresh vegetable products due to the potential for contamination with Listeria monocytogenes. These products came from a production facility in Biddeford, Maine. So far, there have been no illnesses linked to this recall.

The recalled products include packaged varieties of butternut squash, cauliflower, zucchini, and a butternut squashed based veggie bowl, and were distributed under different names, although most of these are labeled with a “Best If Used By” date of June 26 – June 29, 2019.

The company advises that consumers who purchased any of the recalled products are urged not to consume them and to throw the products away. Check the full list of recalled products on the FDA website
