Hi! me together with my husband, and our four friends ate lunch at Nando’s PERi-PERi Chicken Restaurant at 7000 Arundel Mills Cir #229, Hanover, MD 21076 at around past 12nn, last August 26, 2023, Saturday. We were at Table #28. I had Peri-Peri Chicken Bowl with roasted... See More red peppers, grilled corn and hummus served over Portuguese rice and arugula. I just had cold water. I finished the chicken (it was only one piece on that serving). I tasted all the sides but did not finish everything. My husband and our four friends had the group order of Jumbo Chicken Platter with sides of Portuguese rice and garlic bread. And they had cold water also for their drinks. After we were done with our lunch. We just stayed in the food court and sat in one table beside the MagicianPravin Photo Booth. We were so happy and laughing a lot, because we had our pictures taken on the photo booth. Then, I think it was around past 3pm, that I started to have stomach cramps and sweating a lot. I told my husband to accompany me to the mall’s ladies room. He waited by the door. So, I started to have bowel movement and I went out to him, I thought I was fine already, but I told him, I need to go again and went 4 times more and I knew, it was diarrhea already. I went back and forth to him, I felt nauseous and I started vomiting 4 times in the trashcan of the ladies room. I asked my husband that we need to go home already because I was not feeling well anymore. He called our friends to look after me, while he is getting the car. When he came back, he asked the guard if we can borrow a wheelchair. I was sitting in the couch across Nando’s, near the entrance door. I started vomiting again and feeling so weak that I was about to faint. A nurse practitioner saw me threw up liquids so often when I was seated on the couch and she called 911 right away. She told my husband that I was so pale already and might get dehydrated. While in the ambulance, I felt so nauseous and having stomach cramps. I was brought to the Emergency Department of University of Maryland, Baltimore Washington Medical Center. While waiting for a room at ED, I had diarrhea twice and vomited again in the ladies room. In the Triage, I had blood work. done. When I was in the room, I was given iv fluids too, The following were my medications: Amoxicillin-Clavulanate, Dicyclomine, Ondansetron and Oxycodone. I still feel nauseous and having diarrhea too as of today. I will have a follow up treatment with my Primary Doctor. My husband said, he cannot find the receipt.

Update 8/31: I thought, I was fine already the next day. But, last Sunday night, I had stomach cramps and until today I still have diarrhea and feeling bloated. I am just eating soft diet and saltine crackers.
I was seen by the PA of my PCP and added Imodium on my other medicines from the hospital that I am taking. I am still on soft diet and taking lots of fluids, so I won’t get dehydrated. Hoping that I will feel better soon! | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps, Sweating, Dehydration, Weakness
