Tyson Foods announced on January 29 a recall of more than 36,420 pounds of chicken nugget products that may be contaminated with rubber.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.

The specific product at issue is 5-lb. plastic packages of Tyson WHITE MEAT PANKO CHICKEN NUGGETS with a “BEST IF USED BY” date of November 26 2019, case code “3308SDL03” and time stamps 23:00 through 01:59. These items were shipped to retail locations nationwide.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is concerned that some product may be frozen and in consumers’ freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.
