It is possible for butter to be the source of food poisoning. The fat and protein content of butter make it a suitable environment for harmful pathogens to grow when not stored properly. Food poisoning caused by butter is often associated with symptoms of diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting.Last updated: October 4, 2022

On Friday 9/30, three people ate two boils that contained the Cajun sauce. Two people ate a boil with seasoned garlic butter sauce. Both boils contained the same contents (crab legs, shrimp head off, black mussels, potatoes, egg, corn) The sauces were the only difference. The two... that ate garlic butter were fine. The three that ate the Cajun were throwing up and diarrhea for 3 days. That's the only thing we can think of to cause illness | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting

I cooked up a zucchini after washing it and made sure both sides were slightly browned. I used a tiny bit of butter. It was in the pan for quite some time, so I thought that it would be safe by then. However, I believe there must... be a better way to wash a zucchini because I became violently ill from it and had to be ambulance to a hospital. The food poisoning was so bad that I was projectile vomiting and having diarrhea at the same time multiple times until everything that came out of me was clear as water. The stress of situation caused my blood pressure to drop very far. Perhaps, we could wash zucchinis in a saltwater solution and not just a official rent before eating it? | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
I ordered the butterfly chicken- lemon and herb with two sides. I had eaten over half of my chicken before I found that it was bleeding and was still pink. I have been sick twice and I’m more than happy to give my order number, ever since... leaving I have felt nauseous and now have a migraine. I will be suing if my illness gets worse. | Symptoms: Vomiting, Migraine

I ordered a Butter burger no bun, and a side of coleslaw the coleslaw tasted funnny and was sticky texture, I had two bites and threw it out, that is all I ate on Friday 09/23/22. That night I had diarrhea/vomiting and cramps with nausea for two... days and was running a fever. Probably will be going to a doctor or hospital if it doesn't stop by today. I don't know if it's salmonella or something else but I need it checked out as soon as possible. I called to let the manager know and they just blew me off and said are you sure it wasn't something else bc we sold 200 coleslaws and no one else called saying they were sick. This restaurant is not up to food safety standards. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Cramps
