Breakfast Cereal Food Poisoning

It is possible to get sick from cereal. In 2018 Quaker Oats recalled Capn' Crunch due to a Salmonella outbreak that infected 135 people. In 2010 Kellogg's recalled 28 million boxes of cereal due to 'off-flavor and smell'  and the possibility of symptoms, including nausea and diarrhea.

some problems and bad batches were out there. Then he was no longer allowed to speak with me. A cover up is currently going on. Delores, a Senior Escalation Specialist told me that Quaker Oats is not recalling any of this bad cereal. She denies that hundreds of others are making the same complaints. I can Not find a box of good Peanut butter Crunch. Quaker Oats refuses to send me a good box. I Don't think any exists. And I have a complaint with the FDA, but it's going slow. the rest of the day..But I was fine the next day but now I know it’s the cereal bc I just ate some was fine and then I ate it and feel like I have a fever, aches, like I’m getting really sick! This happened the other day but I didn’t think anything of it now I’m realizing this feeling only starts after eating the cereal! So I looked it up it said there’s a recall on the cereal bc it’s contaminated with metals, but I bought the Cinnamon toast cereal and that one is not listed on the recall. I don’t know what’s happening!

04/23 update: The second time I ate it I only had one serving maybe 1.5 servings, and within 30 minutes started feeling awful. Like the same type of feeling I got when I got the Covid vaccine, that’s the closest comparison I can come up with. But I could literally feel my system rejecting something/ trying to fight off whatever it was I put in my body. And I am plant based and super health conscious, but these ingredients look harmless! It’s not like it has a bunch of junk in there that’s why it’s very concerning. Plus there WAS a recall due to metals being in the product, and that would seem about right, considering the way I felt. But I think they need to recall it again and test for metals still being in there.  | Symptoms: Fever, Headache

not the first time the Lucky Charms illness has struck. I’ve been suspicious of the cereal’s association to this affect in the past but didn’t feel certain until of the connection until today. I usually eat two bowls of cereal but my primary gotos are FrostedFlakes and FrostedMiniWheats. I eat the lucky charms from my kids’ supply when I don’t have my gotos available. My kids are little and only eat smaller portions. I’m done buying this stuff for them—something is up with the cereal’s ingredients.
