In 2019, 400 people were poisoned by chicken salad infected with the deadly Salmonella Typhimurium. Severe nausea and vomiting are common signs of this poisoning. Food poisoning symptoms from Salmonella can appear as soon as one to two days after ingestion of contaminated food.

8. Hands clean & properly washed
- comments: 2-301. 14 observed a male food handler with disposable gloves on handle raw eggs and raw pork bacon and then grab a customer serving plate to plate ready to eat foods without changing gloves and washing their hands in between glove use. Observed a female food handler take a container of syrup from a customer and then proceed to touch ready-to-eat toast without changing gloves and washing their hands between glove use. Instructed always to change gloves when changing tasks and always wash hands properly between glove use. Priority violation. Citation issued 7-38-010.
10. Adequate handwashing sinks properly supplied and accessible
- comments: 5-205. 11 observed a dishwasher washing a food container at the rear handwashing sink. Instructed handwashing sinks are for hand washing only. All equipment and utensils must be washed, rinsed, and sanitized at the 3-compartment sink at all times. Priority foundation. Citation issued 7-38-030(c).

Taylor Farms Pacific is recalling approximately 19,976 pounds of its Kroger brand ready-to-eat (RTE) Apple Walnut with Chicken Salad Bowl products due to misbranding and an undeclared wheat allergen. They were distributed to retail locations in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah,... See More Washington, and Wyoming. As of now, there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.
The recalled products are 5.5-oz. clear plastic bowl containers labeled as "Kroger Apple Walnut with Chicken Salad Kit for One." These were produced between February 28, 2024, and March 9, 2024, with use by dates of March 12, 2024, through March 22, 2024. Lot Numbers: TFPM059B41, TFPM060B41, TFPM061A41, TFPM062A41, TFPM063B41, TFPM064A41, TFPM064B41, TFPM065A41, TFPM066A41, TFPM067A41, TFPM068A41, TFPM069B42, and TFPM071A41.
The products subject to recall bear establishment number “P-34013” below the use by date and lot code. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be returned to the place of purchase.
