Crackers could be the source of food poisoning. They can be contaminated with Salmonella as well as Listeria monocytogenes, a bacteria that leads to food poisoning and severe illness. Listeria can be especially harmful to pregnant women, people over the age of 65, and those with weakened immune systems.Last updated: September 22, 2022
Last 30 minutes, I ate 1/4 of a chicken wrap with the lime dressing. After eating half of one of the halves of the wrap, I immediately started feeling nauseated. My stomach began to turn and I told my husband I needed to go outside. And I... started throwing up immensely. It was all of that chicken wrap. But mostly what I tasted was the green I guess it’s ELANTRA lettuce. That is what tasted bitter. My husband took it back inside and told the lady and she was very nice and gave him crackers and a Sprite for me. They offered to refund us but I just needed to get out of there. They were very nice | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain
I got to work and ate club crackers. With in the hour I was hunched over with cramps, vomiting | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Cramps, Stomach Pain
On Tuesday, 8/23, I purchased a double box of Cheerios Oat Crunch (cinnamon flavor) from here. I ate my first bowl at about 11:30 PM the night of Friday, 8/26. The following morning (10 AM on Saturday, 8/27), I was awakened by the urgent need to unleash... several torrents of diarrhea. It was an everything-must-go event. After that was done, I felt nauseous and had no appetite. At about 2 PM that afternoon, I had a bout of vomiting. I then spent the rest of the day in bed with nausea, a light fever, and body aches. I had additional, smaller bouts of diarrhea throughout the day and my second episode of vomiting at about 11 PM that night. The following few days I felt weak and depleted, eating predominantly crackers and bread. It wasn't until Wednesday, 8/31, that I had a normal p**p again, and not until Friday, 9/2, that I resumed a normal diet. I am pretty confident that the Cheerios were the cause of this joyous event given that everything else I ate on 8/26 was something I had already eaten multiple times before (e.g., the almond milk I had with the Cheerios was from a carton I'd used 2-3 times prior). All told, I didn't love the experience. Cheerios: not even once. #cheerios | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Body Ache, Weakness, Loss of Appetite

I bought three containers of Wholly Guacamole on August 1, 2022. I ate from one container on August 5, 2022 and by that night I was nauseous, and began vomiting with diarrhea, this continued for the next 12 hours. I couldn’t keep down anything. I was weak... and nauseous for the next 48 hours only able to sip liquids and eat a few crackers every couple of hours. I thought I had gotten a stomach virus. I ate from another container today and about 2 hours later the nausea started. Since that was the only thing I had eaten, I decided to check the container. It had expired July 5, 2022! It had been expired for almost a month when I bought it! Since packaged guacamole does not show any signs of rotting until it has been opened, I had no idea it was expired! Round 2 of food poisoning I’m sure will commence in the next few hours. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting
I ate campbells tomato soup at 6:30 pm w crackers. By 10:45 I was not feeling good, stomach pain, by midnight, I was squirting liquid ( watery diahrea) which started dark colored and by 4:30 am, was liquid yellow looking, and throwing up several times. I got... shaky and couldn’t stand up. It’s 11:00 am, I am finally feeling better. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Shaking, Headache, Chills

I mean, I like their Kelloggs club crackers, but when ordering online from here didn't have Ritz, so I got Kelloggs instead and have had diarrhea 4 times out of eating them 4 times with different foods, so, def the crackers. It's sad because I ordered 2... boxes of them. Ugh. I wouldn't say I was, "Poisoned" but it was a rough 4 days. I kept eating different kinds of soup, but at the end realized it was the crackers. (That has never happened before.) | Symptoms: Diarrhea
