    Croissants can be a source of food poisoning. Raw flour has been linked to E.coli outbreaks. E.coli causes severe stomach cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea. Salmonella bacteria from raw eggs may cause symptoms of fever, stomach cramps, and diarrhea. Illness after croissant consumption could also be due to an allergy.
