Goodbye! and best wishes in your recovery

It is possible to get food poisoning from egg sandwiches. Eggs can contain Salmonella if not stored properly. Discomfort can start up within 6 to 48 hours after eating the contaminated food. In 2020, there was an outbreak linked to egg sandwiches impacting 236 people.

Uncooked egg, rancid bun. Within the hour after eating an avocado bacon egg sandwich and drinking a flat white. Egg white was clear, translucent, and not cooked. Bread had an odd sweet taste, like bbq sauce and had a crayon type of smell.
That's why I opened... See More the bun to see inside. Thank goodness bc that's when I saw uncooked egg white. Yolk completely ran all over plate but server didn't comment and just dropped food off.
We used to eat here several times a week and this sort of poorly cooked food happens regularly. That's why we only go a few times a month now. Coffee is delicious most of the time but does lack consistency. More importantly staff needs better training regarding service and food preparation. They used to be so much better several years ago, with attention to detail and great packaging. Now it just seems careless and they are skimping on packaging too and who knows what else. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

My bf ordered food from there yesterday online and when he picked it up I ordered the elevated egg sandwich with no avocado. Now when I ordered it at the restaurant it was amazing with spinach but when I got it online yesterday my spinach was cooked... See More as if they put it in the microwave for too long. It had a weird chemical smell to it, it was very strong I could not smell my sandwich without gagging it literally stunk up the whole room, I knew something had to be wrong, but because this was my breakfast an I did not want to travel back I just tried to take it off the best I could, but the flavor of it was still on the egg, and hours later I felt sick to my stomach with diarrea that just kept coming back to back after eating anything. So definitely won’t be ordering any of that again pls check your customers food. | Symptoms: Diarrhea See Less

Ordered a bacon gouda and egg sandwich from there at around 11am and about an hour later my stomach started hurting. Didn't eat anything all day due to the sharp pains in my stomach and about 9pm all hell broke loose. Nonstop diarrhea, vomiting until around 2am.... See More Slept it off and woke up puny and still sick but luckily I got the poisoning all out of my system. No more food from them for me ever again! | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain See Less

A few years ago I had ordered a double smoked bacon cheddar and egg sandwich from here. I’ve never had this but it was all they had and I hadn’t eaten yet and it was nearing late afternoon so I was starving. I only took 2 bites... See More and didn’t like it so I threw it away. About an hour later I was hit with extreme nausea. I was nauseous for hours and at this point already felt like I needed to go to the ER. Eventually I threw up and thought I’d finally feel better, but I kept throwing up. I couldn’t keep any water down, or nausea medicine. I threw up a total of 4 times within 2 hours and had diarrhea at the same time. I was vomiting so hard I could feel something tearing inside of me so I knew I had to go to the ER. At this point it was night time, and I was throwing up and dry heaving all the way to my moms car and all the way to the hospital. Once I got to the ER they had to hydrate me, take my blood, and do a cat scan. I tore my esophagus from vomiting so hard. They made me drink some liquid to coat my esophagus and stomach and sent me home around 8am. I now have to take omeprazole and have GERD/indigestion regularly and occasionally have had to go to the ER for the severity of it. I will never eat any type of bacon egg and cheese ever again. This incident took place in 2019. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Indigestion See Less
