I did not vomit when eating the protein shake by itself. it happened on two separate occasions and both times the only common denominator was the strawberries added to my protein shake. I have since eaten the protein shake from the same container, without problem. This occurred about a month ago. I have been trying to figure it out on my own when I came across your site. My diet is fairly consistent and I do not eat at restaurants or fast food. I eat the same things every day with a variation for dinner. I found it perplexing that I only vomited (it was remarkable that the event was very forceful - my husband described it as violent) and did not have diarrhea, fever, etc. Once my stomach was empty, it was over.
