Ordered filet mignon with toowoomba topping and mushrooms. Sweet potatoe and mixed veggies for side. Ate around 8pm, woke up to extreme nausea and vomiting along with diarrhea around 4am. It’s now 3 pm and still have all symptoms plus a fever of 102… terrible headache and overall body pain  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Headache, Body Ache

‘nicer’ restaurant with only cloth napkins and no extra plates, we had 2 family members choose to swallow the ridiculously chewy meats whole, when they were unable to break the meats down with excessive chewing, they just swallowed the bites down whole, instead of trying to discreetly discard (spit them out) the chewy meats. We lingered and chatted awhile after dinner & then proceeded our drive home, we live about an hour from the restaurant, we had one family member that nearly didn’t make it home to the bathroom. Family Members #1 & # 2: both had explosive diarrhea within the first 2 hours of eating there, followed by several rounds of diarrhea, stomach cramps, and vomiting over the past several days. Family Members #3 & #4: both went to bed nauseated, and woke up 6-8 hours after eating dinner violently vomiting, followed by several more rounds of diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramps for several days after eating there. steak came out and taste of superb.
Within 10 minutes I was in their bathroom having horrible diarrhea. They were symptoms of like MSG.
I then had a 45 minute drive home and had to stop four times. I am now home and I'm still go in the bathroom.
I asked my waitress if they were using MSG and she said they weren't. She said many people ask her though.

but today, the exact same thing happened to her after she ate a very similar meal. Today she had prime rib, stuffed mushrooms, baked sweet potato, and salad with French dressing. Back in February, she had the same meal except with filet mignon instead of prime rib. Exactly 2 hours later, she suddenly started feeling very "phlegmy" and congested in the throat with a runny nose. This was accompanied by extreme nausea and non-stop vomiting for several hours with some diarrhea and cold sweats. She says the food did not seem to taste "off".
