Fried Rice Food Poisoning

After eating spoiled fried rice, you can experience "fried rice syndrome." Bacillus cereus is a toxin-producing bacteria that's a common cause of food poisoning. This can cause nausea and vomiting symptoms that might be experienced almost immediately after consumption. This usually lasts less than 12 hours for mild cases.

The vomiting didn’t come until about an hour or so later, and it continued every 10-20 minutes overnight. My boyfriend had gotten the orange chicken but with lo mien, so I suspect the culprit was the rice.
