However, May 28, 2023 I had a really bad experience. I at the Triple Tuna which I have ordered before. It tasted fine as far as I could tell, but about 30-40 min after finishing lunch, I could tell my stomach wasn't feeling right.

I had one bout of the runs about 60-90 min after I finished eating. Things went south from there. Felt terrible, nausea, abdominal pain, then I got the chills really bad, like really bad. I called 911 for some medical advice, but food poisoning you just have to puke and poop it out and drink gatorade and water and wait for it to pass through your system. Still, the 911 operator sent an ambulance and they took my BP and did an EKG and gave me the usual advice. There was even 2 fireman with them! I quickly asked them to leave since I am sure they have more important calls to attend.

Why I won't be back. Though I've been a regular customer here. I called them yesterday and asked to speak to a manager. The guy who answered said, "there is no manager here today" and hung up. Great. I then called back and was shuffled to 3 different people when I told them I was sick after eating lunch at their restaurant. The last guy I talked to said someone would call me back. A woman called back as the paramedics were working on me so my wife took the call, but she basically said, "Our tuna is fresh!" so I must have gotten food poisoning somewhere else. Great. Thanks for the call. Hopefully this wasn't a part of a larger problem here.

No one from the restaurant has contacted me since I was poisoned.

It's now $30 per meal to eat at Crystal Fish and that's getting a bit pricey for me. Due to this experience with food poisoning and how the staff dealt with it - no apologies, no comped meal, no checking up on me the next day etc, they just lost a repeat customer. Anybody know of another Japanese restaurant in the area that you'd recommend?

Additional information: We use this salt as an additive to our daily water intake as a way to increase our... See More potassium levels (think homemade Gatorade). It is one of very few ingredients, and was being made fresh and ingested daily. We both noticed the bottle smelled badly of a plasticy, petroleum smell, but figured it was just the cheap bottle itself. Over the next few months of use, I began to have debilitating headaches, constant cramps and stomacn upset, and ended up on several medications from my doctor, thinking it was likely stress related. It wasn't until recently that we saw others saying they had also smelled the awful bottle smell, but unlike us, used it in a way they could taste the "salt" itself (without any additional flavorings), saying it was bitter and chemical tasting. We switched brands to Original No Salt, and my symptoms went away shortly after, and I no longer have to take either of the medications prescribed regularly by my doctor since the switch away from Great Value. Someone who left a review directly on walmart.com said they had it independently tested, and found it contained toxic chemicals, but did not specify what exactly. But in light of them being in a current lawsuit for their spices containing high levels of lead, arsenic, and cadmium, I can't imagine what was found to be a good thing. | Symptoms: Nausea, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Headache See Less
