Suspected source: Old gnocchis
Onset: 4 to 12 hours | Symptoms: Vomiting, Stomach Pain
If gnocchis are left out too long after cooking, Bacillus cereus, a bacteria that reproduce on starchy food, can cause food poisoning. Symptoms include vomiting, cramps, diarrhea, and even death. Other potential causes could be an allergy to gluten or ingredients in the sauce.
