The product recalled is the 5-lb. plastic casing or various weight packages sliced from a retail deli containing "Hormel Spiced Ham With Natural Juices". The product was packaged on November 17, 2023, with lot code 051424, case code 04472, and a prepare/freeze by date of 05/14/24-07. The products bear the establishment number "EST. 199" inside the USDA mark of inspection.
While slicing the spiced deli ham product, retail deli employees observed the presence of cheese. It's important to note that the spiced deli ham product does not contain milk, a recognized allergen, and as a result, milk is not declared on the product label.
