lunchables ranging between 50. 0f-55f, 8 dozen eggs ranging between 54. 2-55. 0f, 20 lbs various sliced deli meat ranging betwen 50. 1-53. 7f, 5 lbs hot dogs @ 54. 2f, 15 lbs polish sausages ranging between 50-55. 0f, 25 lbs smoothie beverages ranging between 49. 8-56. 2f, 5 lb sliced cheese @ 54. 1f. Instructed to hold all cold tcs foods @41f or below and maintain at all times. The person in charge voluntarily discarded all said items. Total cost approximately $250. Priority violation. #7-38-005. Citation issued.
33. Proper cooling methods used; adequate equipment for temperature control
- comments: observed walk-in cooler @ improper temperature during time of inspection while storing tcs foods (milk, sliced deli meat, hotdogs, eggs) during time of inspection. Noted temperature @55. 4f. Instructed to hold cooling unit @ 41f or below at all times. Priority violation. 7-38-005. Citation issued. Unit tagged and held for inspection.
36. Thermometers provided & accurate
- comments: observed thermometer in disrepair on walk-in outside cooler. Instructed to provide functioning thermometer and maintain.
38. Insects, rodents, & animals not present
- comments: observed evidence of pest activity on the premise during the time of inspection. Noted approximately 150 droppings in the following places. . . On the floor behind the toilet in the toilet room, scattered on the floor underneath chip and assorted snack shelving units in the prepackaged grocery area, in the rear storage area along the wall under electric boxes, on cement ledge, in corners in between pallets of beverages, and underneath dairy racks inside walk in cooler. Instructed tor remove, clean and sanitize all said areas. Recommended to contact pest control professional for service. Priority foundation violation. # 7-38-020 (a). Citation issued.
38. Insects, rodents, & animals not present
- comments: observed rear door of facility door sweep in disrepair. Instructed to enclose outer openings in order to prevent pest entry.
54. Garbage & refuse properly disposed; facilities maintained
- comments: observed excessive trash in refuse area and alongside building and behind grabage recptacle. Instructed to remove all said trash and miscellaneus items. Must miantain refuse area.
55. Physical facilities installed, maintained & clean
- comments: observed excessive items stored on floor in rear facility, excessive trash and products stored on floors. Observed food debris on floors throughout grocery area under shelving units. Instructed to clean and elevate all items at least 6 inches off floor, instructed to maintain.
56. Adequate ventilation & lighting; designated areas used
- comments: observed excessive dust and dirt on vents inside walk in cooler. Instructed to clean and maintain.
