Pancakes Food Poisoning

Pancakes can be a source of food poisoning. Raw flour and raw eggs, two of the main ingredients in pancakes, have been linked to E.coli and Salmonella outbreaks. Food poisoning associated with pancakes is often characterized by diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. Consumption of raw or undercooked dough is never advised.

Nanosupps is recalling specific batches of its A Protein Pancake products due to the potential presence of mold. Recall notices will be displayed at point-of-sale.

The products recalled include Nanosupps A Protein Pancake in Pistachio and Vanilla flavours. The Pistachio variant, with a pack size of 45g, … See More
has batch codes LOT/P320-23. The Vanilla variant, also 45g, carries the batch code LOT/V321-23. Each having best before dates of 15/05/2024, 17/05/2024, 16/05/2024, and 20/06/2024.

Retailers have been instructed to remove the affected batches from sale and display recall notices at point-of-sale. Consumers are advised not to eat the implicated batches.

leaving I did too. It started with bad gas and cramping and slight nausea. After I went home I got diarrhea. She came over again later and said her stomach still was hurting and I told her about my issues too. After she left again for the night I had a severe urge to throw up and sat by the toilet for 10 minutes till the feeling went away, although I never did throw up. Ive been desling with severe cramps, nausea, gas, and diarrhea for the last 4 hours, and we got the food 10 hours ago. We both got almost the same order. She got pancakes and so did I.
