Ate about 2 T JIF crunchy peanut butter at approximately 4pm EDT 16 June 2022. Began vomiting 4am EDT 18 June 2022. Symptoms worsened. Bed-ridden Sunday 19 June 2022. Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, headache, fever, chills, generalized ache. Slow improvement over next week, with complete cessation of symptoms... on 25 June 2022. My daughter had a peanut butter sandwich on two different weekends. Both times she developed vomiting between 4-6 hours later that lasted for 12 to 24 hours. Ben & Jerry’s is recalling one batch of Ben & Jerry’s Moo-phoria™ Peanut Butter Cookie Dough Ice Cream sold at Sainsbury’s. As a result of a packaging error, it has the incorrect lid of Ben & Jerry’s Salted Caramel Brownie Ice Cream resulting in peanuts not being... mentioned on the lid. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts.

Deskins Candies of Bluefield, WV is recalling the following 16 oz products: Deskins Candies Peanut Butter Fudge, Deskins Candies Peanut Butter No-Bake, Deskins Candies Peanut Butter Pinwheel, and Deskins Candies Chocolate No-Bake because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. These products were distributed as... follows: Merchants Distributor Inc Hickory, NC; Kroger Salem, VA; Grants Supermarket West Virginia and Virginia; and Goodsons Supermarket West Virginia.
Containers are 16 oz clear plastic clamshells. Coding is located on the top of the plastic clamshell beside the label. Coding can be identified by a white sticker with “sell by” and the following expiration dates.

This recall is a result of the J.M. Smucker Co recall of the Jiff peanut butter brand, which is a product used in the production of Deskins Candies. The company has ceased and destroyed all products containing the Jiff peanut butter items under recall. Consumers who have purchased Deskins Candies 16 oz Peanut Butter Fudge, Peanut Butter No-Bakes, Chocolate No-Bakes, and Peanut Butter Pinwheels are urged to return products to place of purchase for full refund or dispose of the products in question and take precautionary measures to prevent the spread of Salmonella.
