Pineapple Food Poisoning

Pineapple food poisoning is possible. The skin of a pineapple can be contaminated by bacteria such as staphylococcus and then transferred to the edible parts when being cut. Staph food poisoning can occur as soon as 30 mins after eating and symptoms can include nausea, vomiting, and stomach ache.

Stomach and back cramps started 30 mins after eating a pineapple cup from Meijer. Nausea, vomiting, violent cramping, and chills continued for the next 14 hours. that day was normal food that I always eat.  I got up three times at night to go to the bathroom, and all day yesterday I ate things to firm things up. Today I was fine and I just got finished eating the one remaining slice, which was about 4 inches on one side. And within half an hour I had to go to the bathroom and it came out quickly.
