See More were served cold chicken wings which we believe were not cooked. My husband took one bite and did not want to eat the rest. We wonder if this is where the illness came from. During our flight back on Sunday, my husband started to get a headache. We didn’t think much of it, but on Monday, it got worse, then the diarrhea started. Tuesday he began throwing up, and had a high fever. By Wednesday, he had not eaten anything since Monday and was not able to keep fluids down. Thursday morning we ended up being admitted to the hospital and tests came back positive for salmonella. He is still in the hospital and is quite sick. Two of our other group members have also reported similar illnesses of less severity. The overall service, cleanliness and quality of this resort was abhorrent and we will never go back. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Something else, Fever, Headache See Less

The two of us who ate the lunch got sick by the next day. The diarrhea got worst and worst, until the 22 February we had to go to urgency where we were placed an intravenous line. We were soon released that same day, but then my condition worsened, and the 24 February I started having strong fever, fainting, feeling very weak, vomiting and realizing that I hadn't urinated in 3 days. I would flush anything I drank in less than 10 minutes, and was severely dehydrated. I was quickly hospitalized and remained in bed with an intravenous line and antibiotics until the 28 February, when I was released still very weak and not feeling well. My return flight to Spain departed the 29. Until that moment, I could do no other thing than remain in my hotel room. Later analyses back in Spain confirmed an infection by Salmonella, Shigella and enteroinvasive Escherichia coli, and I have been prescribed more antibiotics. That sandwich ruined an entire trip and I will never trust plane food again.. It was very likely the lunch offered in flight AI 415, the 18 frebuary, from Delhi to Vishakhapatnam.
