Stored and prepared properly but within two hours of eating basa fish I was violently sick, vomiting and diarrhoea until 4.30am...heaving and retching so badly I've strained muscles in my chest. Fourth days later I'm still nauseous and only managed to keep down banana and dry toast,... and water. The basa fillets were an alternative, and nowhere on the description does it suggest there might be reactions like this, and the only "Allergy in Bold type" is *fish*. I think the product should be correctly described as Farmed Vietnamese Catfish and that some people may have severe reaction to it.
03/17 Update: The nearest location to me is this one...but sorry I can't be sure that that's where the online deliveries come from. I'm just about recovered now, although I could only keep small amounts of banana, dry toast, and water down for three days after, and my stomach muscles up into my chest area were so sore from the violent vomiting... | Symptoms: Vomiting, Diarrhea, Nausea, Soreness
I suspect I got sick from either the salmon sushi I ate or the Vietnamese cold wrap there. I’m writing this from a hospital bed in New York where I flew yesterday to get treatment. On Sunday night I started feeling very sick. I went to the... room and Monday morning I had horrific diarrhea all day. The symptoms got worse the next day (Tuesday morning) and the JW sent a doctor from the local clinic who diagnosed me with appendicitis. I went to the local hospital where they also insisted I had appendicitis without doing a CT scan and then handed me a bill for $4k and that didn’t include surgery. I left with antibiotics and decided to come back to the states for treatment. I was admitted to the hospital last night and I do have an inflamed appendix but finally got test results that I have severe salmonella poisoning. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea

Food poisoning twice now from their recipe containing Basa fish. Their Basa fish use is imported from Vietnam and when you Google this there can be issues with Vietnamese Basa. Never had such violent food poisoning, though I'd have to go to hospital. This product needs to be discontinued by them. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea
Closure Date: 09-16-2020
Health inspectors shut down the “Vietnamese Cuisine and Restaurant” in Kihei after finding a roach infestation in the kitchen. The Health Department says they found up to 30 live roaches in the restaurant and crawling within food. Roaches were seen in the flour, rice, and... even on dishes, according to the DOH.
Adding to the violations, inspectors found that raw food was stored in the same container as cooked food, and there was no soap near a hand sink. Inspectors also found a severe lack of cleaning in the kitchen areas, causing a build up of food debris.
Turtle Tower Pho, and cafe su da (Vietnamese Iced Coffee) they had vodka or tequila in their stuff, burned my mouth and made me ill. I am surprised they can serve alcohol in their food without cooking it out. I am saving broth and drink if you... want them for testing - i will keep them in my freezer for a week. i ate alone, take out, i did not eat too many bites.. alcohol taste was nasty and made me nauseous. | Symptoms: Nausea, Other
It was myself, and it was Salmon Vietnamese style Caramel, but without the caramel added. I think it might not have been properly cooked from this restaurant just me, because it was the only one prepared in this manner | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea
