Brad’s Plant Based Products recalled due to Thallium Levels

Snack Right Super Foods, Inc. and Brad’s Raw Chips, LLC are recalling Brad’s Plant-Based Crunchy Kale and Salad Snack products due to elevated thallium levels. These products were sold at major retailers in California and other states in the United States.

- Brad’s Crunchy Kale Vampire Killer
- Brad’s Balsamic Salad Snack
- Brad's Ranch Salad Snack
- Brad’s Crunchy Kale Cheeze It Up
- Brad’s Crunchy Kale Nacho
- Brad’s Crunchy Kale Radical Ranch
- Brad’s Veggie Chips Kale

The products are distributed from Pennsylvania and labeled as “Product of Mexico.” Specific lot numbers and UPC codes were not provided.

The issue was identified following a January 2026 inquiry from an individual with elevated thallium levels. The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) confirmed the contamination through testing.
