You can get food poisoning from eating plant-based meat such as Beyond Meat. In 2022, former Beyond meat employees leaked pictures and documents of several food safety issues in a production plant in Pennsylvania, the most notorious ones being products positive for Listeria, growing of mold in some areas, and reports of extraneous materials in products, among others. The most common symptoms mentioned are diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and cramps
