Goodbye! and best wishes in your recovery

It's possible to get food poisoning from neighborhood restaurant chains. In 2019 a worker at a Bob Evans location in Washington, MO was diagnosed with Hepatitis A initiating a vaccination drive to avoid an outbreak. Commonly reported symptoms from Bob Evans' food poisoning are nausea and diarrhea.

My husband and I went here on the day after Thanksgiving around 2 pm. I got the pot roast, it looked like it was covered in gravy and carrots. I ate it, all of it and later that night I started getting diarrhea that continued all night... See More long as well as vomiting. The muscle cramping in my stomach was terrible and I'm dehydrated now from losing so much fluids | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps, Dehydration See Less

I ate a wildfire chicken salad this evening and so did my sister in law. We were in a group of 12 people and we both are the only ones who ordered the salad. We both have been violently throwing up with nausea, diarrhea, cold sweats and more since about an hour after we ate dinner. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting See Less

The FSIS announced the recall of approximately 7,560 pounds of Italian pork sausage products by Bob Evans Farms Foods, Inc. because the product may be contaminated with extraneous materials, specifically thin blue rubber. This product was shipped to retail locations nation-wide. There have been no confirmed reports... See More of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products.

The recalled product is:
- 1-lb. chubs containing “Bob Evans Italian Sausage” with lot code XEN3663466 and a “USE/FRZ BY” date of 11/26/22, with a time stamp between 14:43 and 15:25. The product bears the establishment number “EST. 6785” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The problem was discovered after the firm notified FSIS it had received consumer complaints reporting thin blue pieces of rubber in the product.

FSIS is concerned that some products may be in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

In case you experience harm from extraneous materials, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve issues and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.

I'm so so sorry you got sick from this. I have emetophobia as well. Try to keep Dramamine or similar on hand for when you start to feel sick
