You can get food poisoning from fast food fried chicken. Diarrhea and vomiting are the most commonly reported symptoms from Church's Chicken. Fired chicken isn't the only food customers have reported, other dishes to have caused illness are coleslaw, fries, biscuits, and mashed potatoes.

- comments: observed no paper towels at exposed hand washing sink in employee washroom. Instructed to maintain paper towels at all exposed hand washing sinks at all times. Priority foundation violation 7-38-030(c). Citation issued.... See More

- comments: observed the inside of the deep fryer oil filtering unit with a build up of grease and food debris. Instructed to clean and maintain all

- comments: observed accumulated grease and food debris on interior and exterior surfaces of cooking equipment, prep tables, coolers, freezers, shelving units. Instructed manager to clean and maintain.

- comments: observed an excessive amount of grease spilling out into the alley from the grease container due to the grease container broken. Management instructed to clean and maintain the outside grease area at all times. Priority foundation violation 7-38-020(b).

- comments: found heavy dirt and grime build up on the wall and wall base tiles on the right side of the oven. Clean the floor underneath the deep fryers. Instructed to clean and maintain.

- comments: observed no city of chicago certified food manager on site with valid original certificate while preparing and serving tcs foods (chicken, fish sandwiches, mashed potatoes). - comments: observed approximately 6lbs of cooked chicken pieces at improper temperature located on the table in the prep area during the time of inspection. Noted temperatures ranging between 104. 5f -123. 0f. Instructed to hold all hot time/temperature control for safety foods at 135f or higher as required. Priority violation. #7-38-005. Citation issued. Said food was voluntarily discarded at this time by the person in charge.

- comments: observed evidence of appx. 25 or more mice droppings on floor under shelving unit and along wallbase inside of walk in cooler and on floor behind prep cooler near drive-thru.
