Diarrhea and nausea are commonly reported Costco food poisoning symptoms and Salmonella is a commonly reported diagnosis. However, in 2015, there was a multistate outbreak of Shiga toxin-producing E. coli infection from Costco Rotisserie Chicken Salad, which hospitalized five people.

On the 14th sept I had pasta with meatballs from there and I know I cooked it well because I slightly burnt it. The next morning at 8am I woke up feeling light headed and dizzy. Later on I felt sick and had the worst headaches. Around... See More 1pm I was sick and started to have diarrhoea. In my sick was spots of blood too. I called my doctor and made an appointment. At the appointment, she told me I definitely had a fever and if the blood in my vomit kept happening I should call them back as soon as possible. Later on that evening I was sick again with blood and felt so light headed. The pains just were getting worse in my stomach. My mum called the hospital and they had me speak to paramedics and they said it sounds like I have food poisoning. I didn’t get any sleep last night due to constant stomach pains and diarrhoea. And today I’m still feeling them pains. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Headache, Stomach Pain, Bloody Stool, Dizziness, Lightheaded See Less

I bought the Impossible Burger at this place - ate two - and I had severe stomach cramps, nausea, and the smell of the burger oozed out of my pores, even after showering, I can still smell it in my skin two days later. The smell, of... See More course transferred to my sheets, I have never experienced anything like this before. The worst symptom was the nausea, stomach cramps and feeling tired/wiped out.

I looked on the internet for complaints about this product and found a reference to: soy leghemoglobin which Food Safety News claims was never thoroughly reviewed by the FDA.
I ate this product on Sunday 09/12/21 and on Wednesday 09.15.21 I still have a stomach cramps and nausea and the smell is still oozing out of my pores.

I was just reading Food Safety News and would like to add this comment about the FDA:
I once approached the FDA because I had found 4 products in a month all labeled Gluten Free that all contained barley. When I called the FDA at 3:30pm to express my concern they got back to me the next morning at 9:30am stating: We contacted the manufacturer. They didn't get back to us, so there is nothing we can do.
Those concerned about food safety might want to look up the FDA and their relationship with Monsanto - something about a revolving door. That might explain their "response" or lack thereof. For those who don't know, Monsanto has miles of green houses full of genetically modified plants they are creating in addition to the Roundup they are famous for (although they sold it in 2018 to Bayer), the DDT they are noted for, their relationship with Coca-Cola...the list goes on.
