candy was Far Worse than even that. Within an hour I was so ill, and there were numerous sounds going through my intestines. I had diarrhea twice in a row, felt dizzy and if I was able- would have sought medical help. I had so much gas, it went on & on. When I laid down, I put a hot water bottle on my stomach. The next morning, I still felt bloated, gassy and all day drinking only Green Tea. This is a horrible product. I had no idea that maltitol was so dangerous on the gastrointestinal system!!! confirm it. Big mistake. I threw the rest of the cereal out and then around noon I was experiencing severe stabbing pains in my gut. This was followed by spending the rest of the day vomiting and having diarrhea or both at the same time. It seemingly went away the next day, but the effects lingered on and are still bothering me this month. I lost 7 pounds in that one day of being sick from TWO bites of cereal. If I had eaten the whole bowl I would’ve been in the emergency room.
