Goodbye! and best wishes in your recovery

It's possible to get food poisoning from amusement parks. Diarrhea and nausea are the most commonly reported symptoms from Disneyland. Salmonella is the most commonly reported diagnosis. Theme park food such as burgers, chicken wings and other fast food are served at Disneyland and these have been associated with food poisoning in the past.

My Husband and I had just gotten married and decided to spend our honeymoon at Disneyland Park Anaheim, CA, for two days, Oct 8th and 9th, 2023. While there We ate at many of the restaurants with no problem. It wasn’t until the second day , That... See More we had any problems. My husband and I split up to Because he wanted to rise of the resistance, and I wanted to try the turkey leg. This was the one that my husband and I DID NOT share. At 6:10 PM I had gotten a turkey leg from the cart to right in front of big thunder and had eaten a majority of the leg on my own. For the rest of the night, my stomach felt a little queasy and odd, But I initially thought nothing of it. It wasn’t until the next Day, when I started displaying symptoms first with just stomach cramps, that progression got worse.

Symptoms included:
- Sharp, stabbing pain at lower abdomen/intestines
- Dehydration
- Dizziness
- Vomiting
- Nausea
- Excessive diarrhea
- fever

During this time, I wasn’t able to hold anything down on my own, and would just vomit up anything I took in, including just water. Any small movement was just so painful and I was constantly using the restroom to where I was raw. These symptoms continued until October 13th, when my sister-in-law took me to urgent care. Because I was the only one that ate the turkey leg. I was the only one that had symptoms as my husband was completely fine. The doctors immediately suspected the turkey like to be the culprit of the mysterious bacteria, causing my upset stomach and prescribed me two different antibiotics, and one medication for nausea.. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Cramps, Dehydration, Dizziness
