Jimmy John's Food Poisoning

The FDA recently served Jimmy John's with a warning letter linking the chain to multiple food poisoning outbreaks. The most recent outbreak at the end of 2019 sickened 22 with E.coli. Common symptoms of Jimmy John's food poisoning include diarrhea and nausea. And the most common diagnosis is Salmonella.

Saturday, March 30 my daughter and son-in-law ordered italian subs from Jimmy Johns. Sunday evening at 10:00 they both became violently ill with vomiting, diarrhea and fevers. They were not able to keep even water down. They are feeling a little bit better today, 36 hours after outbreak.  | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever

On Wednesday evening about 6 pm. I stopped to purchase a number 2 roast beef and cheese. Extra mayo lettuce and tomato. 8 hours later that night about 2 am. I started getting stomach cramps and by 3 am I was on the toilet. 36 hours later still have diarrhea and stomach cramps  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Cramps
