I ate a small bunch of large green grapes, about 9:00 pm on Wed night, by 5:00 am Thu morning, I was awaken with severe stomach pains, followed by diarrhea and violent vomitng, that lasted for at least an hour. After I was able to clean myself... up, I have a very sore throat and ribcage, to the point of hurting when I cough or sneeze or even try to laugh. I have only been able to drink hot tea and chicken broth, and today chicken noodle soup and saltines. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Sore Throat
Bought the same chocolate chip cookies I always do from their bakery which they make them fresh in store. Recently they changed from tubs to flat containers and ever since it's almost like this stop and shop hasn't been baking the cookie all the way through. It's... very odd because the cookies look darker like 1 step away from being too cooked but when you bite into it they are SUPER doughy like it's not fully cooked. They never used to be like that. I ate some of the cookies when I got home and I've had the worst stomach ache for 3 days now. I can feel the cookies working their way through my system as I suffer. I was the only one who ate the cookies and I got sick. Couldn't move for the first day because of the pain. Nothing I took helped, gas pills, Pepto ECT. Second day still in pain but in different areas and now on their day. In pain again different area. Definitely from the cookie not being fully cooked or mixed right. Unsure if it was raw egg or flour in the dough that caused this just that it was the cookies since that's the only thing I for a snack ate and got sick 30 mins later and I'm STILL in pain. In my picture you can see uncooked bits of dough in the cookie. | Symptoms: Nausea, Gas, Stomach Pain
I went shopping yesterday and when I got home me and the kiddo’s dived into some of the items I purchased. Today me and two of my children are experiencing nausea, soft/ watery stool. I’m not sure about my kids but I am also dealing with headaches,... body ache's and dizziness and stomach pain/ cramps I have a very strong feeling that the cookies I purchased were the cause of what I believe is food poisoning. Me and 4 of my family members enjoyed the cookies but I had the majority of the cookies being a little piggy so I think that’s why it’s hitting me the hardest. I have definitely learned from my gluttonous ways. NEVER AGAIN! Hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I gave the business 4 stars because of the obvious. Other than that great store IMO. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Headache, Dizziness, Body Ache
I ordered a bowl with half chow neon and half fried rice with honey walnut shrimp. I wanted brown rice but they didn’t have it so I just ordered the half chow mein and half fries rice. The food tasted horrible. The fried rice was somewhat hard... and the honey walnut shrimp breading was falling apart. It tasted horrible but I was still able to eat half of the bowl because I was so hungry from being at the job site all day and then having to fly back home. That night I had a very bad stomach ache. When I got up early in the morning for work I had to run to the restroom to go and I had really bad diarrhea. It was so runny and stinging when it came out and the entire day, every hour, I had to go to the restroom. And until today I have bad diarrhea . | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Stomach Pain
Today, We bought a Springfield Pork Loin from our local store today 2/4/2023 and it was 4 days past the sell by date and all four of us who consumed it got violently sick. We checked the packaging and the sell by date was 2/1/2023. I called... the store spoke to a manager named Jennifer and she offered a refund plus a 15.00 Gift Card and told they will be removing all expired pork loins from their case.
Correction as I am writing this the fourth person who consumed the pork loin is now also vomiting violently.
2 adults and two teenagers.

I had some Lay’s Kettle cooked jalapeño flavored chips a few days ago. I was terribly nauseous afterward, but had not thought it could be the chips. Today, I had the chips again at lunch and I’ve had severe nausea for hours now. I wish I could... just throw up and this feeling would go away. I am 100% certain it’s the potato chips | Symptoms: Nausea
I ate packaged Butter Leaf lettuce from there in the evening, woke up with severe diarrhea and vomited. Usually I wash the lettuce before eating but this time I didn’t. It lasted for 2 days and was horrible!!! | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting

Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness. Pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are particularly at risk. Although infected pregnant women may experience only mild, flu-like symptoms, the infection can lead to premature delivery, infection of the newborn or even stillbirth. In severe cases of illness, people may die.
In case you are experiencing Listeria monocytogenes symptoms, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
