Bought the same chocolate chip cookies I always do from their bakery which they make them fresh in store. Recently they changed from tubs to flat containers and ever since it's almost like this stop and shop hasn't been baking the cookie all the way through. It's... See More very odd because the cookies look darker like 1 step away from being too cooked but when you bite into it they are SUPER doughy like it's not fully cooked. They never used to be like that. I ate some of the cookies when I got home and I've had the worst stomach ache for 3 days now. I can feel the cookies working their way through my system as I suffer. I was the only one who ate the cookies and I got sick. Couldn't move for the first day because of the pain. Nothing I took helped, gas pills, Pepto ECT. Second day still in pain but in different areas and now on their day. In pain again different area. Definitely from the cookie not being fully cooked or mixed right. Unsure if it was raw egg or flour in the dough that caused this just that it was the cookies since that's the only thing I for a snack ate and got sick 30 mins later and I'm STILL in pain. In my picture you can see uncooked bits of dough in the cookie. | Symptoms: Nausea, Gas, Stomach Pain See Less

See More body ache's and dizziness and stomach pain/ cramps I have a very strong feeling that the cookies I purchased were the cause of what I believe is food poisoning. Me and 4 of my family members enjoyed the cookies but I had the majority of the cookies being a little piggy so I think that’s why it’s hitting me the hardest. I have definitely learned from my gluttonous ways. NEVER AGAIN! Hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. I gave the business 4 stars because of the obvious. Other than that great store IMO. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Headache, Dizziness, Body Ache See Less

Food contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes may not look or smell spoiled but can still make you sick. Symptoms can include vomiting, nausea, persistent fever, muscle aches, severe headache and neck stiffness. Pregnant women, the elderly and people with weakened immune systems are particularly at risk. Although infected pregnant women may experience only mild, flu-like symptoms, the infection can lead to premature delivery, infection of the newborn or even stillbirth. In severe cases of illness, people may die.
In case you are experiencing Listeria monocytogenes symptoms, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve outbreaks early and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
